Red Devils and Chelsea target Arjen Robben has claimed that he won’t be leaving Germany, Dutchman also said that his family is settled in Germany so he is happy in Munich.
“My contract runs until 2017. You can’t look too far forward in football, but everything is fine at the moment – I hope things continue this way.” – Robben said
“I am happy in Munich – my family is happy in Munich,” Robben added
Turkish club Fenerbahce have also been linked with Robben in recent week, but now it seems that all teams that are interested in signing Bayern winger should look elsewhere.
Robben first came to prominence with Groningen, for whom he was player of the year for the 2000–01 Eredivisie season. Two years later he signed for PSV, where he became the Netherlands’ Young Player of the Year and won an Eredivisie title. The following season Robben’s signature was pursued by leading English clubs, and after protracted transfer negotiations he joinedChelsea in 2004.
