Man United defender has suffered groin injury in the match against Wolfsburg!

Man United defender Chris Smalling has suffered groin injury in Wedensday’s Champions League match against Wolfsburg, where Red Devils defeated 3-2 and eliminated in the group stage.

Englishman fall with a problem in the 77th minute. However, Smalling continued game as Louis Van Gaal had used all three substitutes by the time. As a result Smalling finished the game but his moves was limited.

26-year-old defender will undergo a scan after Man United returns to England and we will see if Chris’s injury is serious or not.

Centre-back signed a pre-contract agreement with Manchester United in 2010 and joined the Red Devils officially on 1 July. Smalling played his first match in the 2010 Community Shield victory over Chelsea. Since his debut, he has gone on to make more than 100 appearances for the club.
