Manchester United fans are fairly unhappy with the quality of team’s football and manager Louis van Gaal confirmed that aside from the loan recalls of the likes of Will Keane and Adnan Januzaj, United will continue transfer activity.
“January brings the opening of the transfer window and, as I have already seen, we have been linked to a host of players.” – Dutchman said.
“I don’t see January as the ideal time to do business as the players cannot then have the pre-season that I feel they need to be integrated into the squad, both on and off the pitch. – he added.
Meanwhile, the Reds have been linked highly-rated Bundesliga star Ricardo Rodriguez. As per the Guardian, United are preparing a £30million (€40m ) bid for defender, who is contracted to Wolfsburg until 2019.
Rodriguez said earlier this week that he had not been made aware of any interest from Real Madrid. “I’ve not heard from Real,” he said. “I don’t know if there’s anything in it. Even my manager has said nothing to me, so there is nothing new.”
