Everton monitoring highly-rated defender from La Liga

Premier League outfits Everton are considering a summer move for highly-rated defender Mateo Musacchio, according to the reports from Spain.

It is believed that Everton have sent their chief scout Kevin Reeves to watch him in action, and claim the defender is worth £15 million, but his actual price could raise far beyond this.

Musacchio is a top option if the club cash in on highly rated John Stones, who they stopped leaving for Chelsea last summer.

His contract runs until June 2018 and includes a release clause of 50 million Euros, Inside Spanish Football previously reported.
