Prolific No.8 is on his way to Chelsea return

The Championship side Reading manager Brian McDermott has announced that Michael Hector will be returning to Chelsea in the summer.

Hector was signed by Chelsea in the 2015 summer transfer window but was immediately loaned back to the Royals until the end of the season.

In the Championship, he has won 38 out of 70 attempted tackles for Reading but is now set to finally link up with the Blues in the summer.
Even though the 23-year-old might not immediately appear to be the type of player that Chelsea would usually go for, his manager believes that he can help the Blues.

“I thought Michael was outstanding,” McDermott is quoted by the Daily Mail as saying. “He is going to Chelsea in the summer and I told him that it is another string to your bow and to play that way, the way he played, he can play for Chelsea in that role, no problem.
