European Giants Have Put a £60m Price Tag on Chelsea and Man Utd Target

According to the Daily Express, Real Madrid have reportedly put a £60million price tag on Chelsea and Manchester United transfer target James Rodriquez, who has been linked with a move away from the La Liga giants. Both English outfits have long had their eyes on the Colombian attacking midfielder but for months the Royal club refused to countenance selling him to one of their fiercest European rivals. Los Blancos signed James for a reported £63 million from Monaco in the wake of his brilliant showing at the 2014 World Cup for Colombia.

Rodriquez is in the rank of players, who could be perfect signing either Chelsea or United, but the question is if he would love to join the clubs, who most likely won’t make a top four this year, that provides the Champions League football.

Louis van Gaal has reportedly spent £250million since he arrived, and it’s unclear how much money the new man would be able to spend this summer. Real boss Zinedine Zidane said he is “annoyed” by media speculation about the Colombian, as he trusts his No. 10.

The 24-year-old has been huge for Los Blacos since move from Porto and has had a hand in 49 goals in 69 appearances. He has been effective this season as well despite missing eight fixtures in La Liga due to Muscle injury, scored five times and provided six assist in 19 games. Also he’s young, still developing and accepting this, this looks like another big transfer speculation.
