Martin Skrtel’s red card v England
There was very little to keep anyone awake during Slovakia v England but Martin Skrtel did his very best to keep the watching public interested.
Skrtel was lucky to still be on the pitch when he was awarded a second red card on 57 minutes.
The former Liverpool defender, now plying his trade for Fenerbahce, was originally booked on 25 minutes.
After that point, there were at least two occasions where England fans were calling for Skrtel to be sent off for a second yellow.
Nasty stamp on Harry Kane
When the second yellow did come it was a huge surprise that it wasn’t a straight red.
Skrtel put in a disgusting stamp on Harry Kane, which saw the former Liverpool defender receive a second booking.
It left England with 35 minutes to play against 10 men, which eventually told as Adam Lallana scored in the 95th minute for a 1-0 win in Sam Allardyce’s first game in charge!
