Clubs could land Premier League star for bargain fee: Chelsea and Liverpool linked

MANCHESTER CITY goalkeeper Joe Hart could be available for a cut-price fee, according to reports.

Hart, 22, was allowed to join Torino in a season-long loan deal following Pep Guardiola’s arrival at Manchester City during the summer.

He has impressed in between the sticks for the Italian outfit, keeping four clean sheets in his 16 top-flight appearances.

However The Times claim Torino have already accepted that they have no chance of keeping hold of Hart on a permanent basis due to his £100,000-a-week wage demands.

The England international has two years left to run on his contract at the Etihad but Guardiola is said to have no intention of letting him stick around.

According to The Times, Guardiola’s stance has left City with little room to negotiate a high fee for Hart, meaning he could be bought for as little as £15m.

The former Shrewsbury shot-stopper is said to be keen to stay in the Premier League and that should not be a problem given he reportedly has a host of top-flight suitors.

Last month the Express credited both Chelsea and Liverpool with interest in Hart.

Chelsea were said to have concerns over the long-term future of Thibaut Courtois at Stamford Bridge.

The Belgium international has long been linked with a move back to Spain with Real Madrid.

Jurgen Klopp meanwhile, is apparently on the lookout for a new goalkeeper, despite shelling out £4.7m to sign Loris Karius last summer.

The Times suggest Everton and West Ham may also bid for Hart, who has made almost 350 appearances and won two Premier League titles during his decade-long City career.
