Liverpool are free to make a move for former Real Madrid man Jese Rodriguez, report Calciomercato.
Jese, who began his career in Spain after working his way through the Real Madrid youth system, joined PSG in a €25million deal in the summer but has failed to secure a regular spot in Emery’s starting XI and has started just once in Ligue 1.
A host of top European teams are rumoured to be interested in recruiting the 23-year-old winger, with Liverpool being unveiled as one of the club’s competing for his signature as Jurgen Klopp bids to strengthen his squad going into the second phase of the season.
One of the two agents representing Jese has said his client does not see his future with the French champions.
Along with Gines Carvajal, Armando Ufarte takes care of Jese’s affairs and speaking with Canarias 7, the agent said the Spaniard is not thinking long-term at the Parc des Princes.
“Nothing has been decided and there is still time in this transfer window,” Ufarte said of a potential January move for Jese. “What is certain is that Jese no longer sees his future at PSG.
“He is waiting to pick the best from the offers that he has received. Until then, he is working hard in training every day to be in good condition once he gets back into action.
“He is ambitious and wants to continue to develop. I speak regularly with him and he knows we will work hard to find the best alternatives for him.”
Jese, who has won La Liga and UEFA Champions League who times at Santiago Bernabeu, scored twice in 14 appearances for PSG this season, is under contract with the French giants until 2021.
