Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal are all in for £86million-rated Torino star Andrea Belotti, but he has reportedly decided on future
According to Calciomercato, Barcelona has reentered the market for a quality hitman. And the target is none other than Italian sensation Belotti. The 23-year-old has been on fire this season. He has bagged 22 goals in 24 games for the Turin club and has attracted the interest of top English clubs.
Italian press claim that during Champions League clash against Paris-Saint Germain, Torino officials were in the stand and were there to listen to Catalan giants first offer for him.
Calciomercato reckons that La Liga champions identified Belotti as a long-term replacement for in-form superstar Luis Suarez, while the summer signing Paco Alcacer has failed to repay the faith the management showed in him.
Premier League giants would have to dig deep into their pockets to find that sort of cash for the former Palermo man, but it may not matter anyway because it is claimed Belotti already has his heart set on Camp Nou side.
‘El Gallo’, as he’s popularly known, has previously admitted he’s a fan of legendary Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko. He’s also cited the likes of Mario Gómez, Fernando Torres, Didier Drogba and Sergio Agüero as references.
