Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City are all reportedly interested in signing the Portuguese wonderkid Pedro Neto
Spanish news outlet Sport have reported that the Spanish giants have the advantage to sign Neto from SC Braga in the summer, but face tough competition from Premier League giants.
The Portugal U17 international is billed as one of Braga’s most promising stars for the future.
He is a central midfielder with electrifying pace, who has extremely good decision-making for such a young player.
And the numbers suggest that he is rightly being tipped for a big future, having bagged 16 goals in just 21 games for Braga B.
And another Spanish outlet Don Balon reports the 17-year-old is a friend of Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who rates him highly.
The Merseyside giants have one of the best youth setups in England, and are regularly on the lookout for promising youngsters, albeit mostly from England, to add to their academy setup before they can eventually be incorporated in the first team picture.
The Red Devils, similarly, have a well-known academy setup, with the club known to provide starlets an opportunity with the first team.
And recent acquisitions of Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Nishan Burkart and Tahith Chong suggests that the club is looking all across Europe for future superstars.
