Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are all keen to secure the services of Scotland and Celtic defender Kieran Tierney, according to the British papers
The 19-year-old is undoubtedly one of the brightest prospects currently coming through in the Scotland’s top flight, having already established himself as a key man for the Bhoys less than two years after he made his debut for the club.
And Mail Online report the Premier League giants are closely monitoring the progress of promising left-back, who is valued at around £10m by Brendan Rodgers’ side.
United boss Jose Mourinho has used a variety of players on the left side of his defence this season. Luke Shaw has fallen out of favour, while Matteo Darmian, Daley Blind and Marcos Rojo have all been rotated in that role.
Neither Arsenal’s Nacho Monreal or Kieran Gibbs have really managed to take full advantage of the chances that they have received at left-back in the Gunners team this season, having often been under par, and the latter’s contract expires at the end of next season (via transfermarkt), so it surely makes sense to consider potential replacements for the pair.
At Chelsea, meanwhile, there’s only one recognised left-back in Antonio Conte’s squad – an impressive summer signing Marcos Alonso, but a new arrival at left-back would definitely bolster the Blues backline.
The Scotland international made 31 appearances in all competitions this term – netted once and registered 12 assists for the Hoops.
