The Dutchman has long been linked with a greater club after some rock-solid performances at the back for Southampton this campaign, with Liverpool and Everton also amongst his many suitors.

Antonio Conte has been keen to bolster his defence this campaign, despite the great form of David Luiz, Gary Cahill and Cesar Azpilicueta in his back line.
